First off, I finally got my permit! I got to drive home from Brewer (About an hour away) on the interstate, first time going 75! The state recently raised the speed limit from Orono, ME and north. I'm not sure how far it goes.

Anyways....This past weekend was really exciting! I took Duelli and Keiko to the Lincoln HTS. I was kind of worried about taking Duelli because she can be kind of "Flighty" at times. She was the total opposite of flighty. Lets just say, she was simply perfection in my book. Yes, there were something things that could have been better but it was her 1st show and I would have been proud if we got eliminated! She got a 40 in her dressage (Everyone's scores were really high and I am not sure why, there were some NICE tests.) Clear cross country, and two rails and stadium(Beg. Novice). We ended the day with a 4th place ribbon! I don't think I can write about how proud I am of Duelli. Well, unless I put a video up of me jumping up and down screaming :). She tied to the trailer really nicely and stayed calm when I took Keiko away. She is a total different horse. (New goal for Duellsa! Spring UNH!)
Keiko was fantastic also! It was her last hooray for the year. We got a 38 in dressage, clear cross country, and clear stadium! Ended the day with a 1st place ribbon!(Beg.Novice) I'm also incredibly proud of the big Keiko mare, she has been learning so fast this year and really doing great <3.*Also want to put a little shout out here for Grace Davis! She bought my little Ella mare a little under 2 years ago, and this was their 2nd Horse Trials ever! She has done fantastic with Ella! They are learning together and are really progressing in a strong way. They had a decent dressage test, clear stadium, and clear XC! They ended the day with 3rd! (Elementary) :)*
This was just a short little update, now this weekend we're off to a schooling two phase with Ryn and Duelli. Then Sunday is a Steuart Pitman clinic with them too!
